Hello!
Spring is here!!! Track meets, spring softball and baseball games are being played and Cardinal Ball is back!!!!! This year is election year for us. The Mayor, aldermen, and city clerk are are some of the races being watched around here.
We are getting ready to do some much needed repair and updating on our building. We got a grant from the State of Illinois for almost $27,000. Look for some changes at our library.
We have become part of the largest library system in the country. We have changed our system name to Illinois Heartland Library System. We will now be able to offer our partron's over 10 million items to check out. Our system will now have over 1.2 million patrons!!!! Look for the changes and remember to be patient with us as we learn our new check out system. DON"T FORGET YOUR LIBRARY CARD!!!
