Director's Message

Hello!

2010 already!!! My how 2009 flew by!  This year we have already started  off by adding WIFI to the list of many services we offer our patrons! We continue to offer a large selection of new titles for everyone , from the kids to the adults! We have added over 100 large print titles to  our collection because we noticed a large increase in readership for that area. DVDs still are a big demand item and we continue to offer new releases as well as some of the older movies people like. Our new barcoding system is working out wonderfully for everyone. It makes it easier for us to keep track of our books and other items and track their usage. Patrons are finding out how easy it is to locate and request items from other libraries.

This year we hope to add more childrens programming and  help for those wanting to learn more about computers.  As always we are here to help you file taxes , write resumes and file for your unemployment on line. We get job want ads every Tuesday from The Job Center and they are available for you to help in your job search.
