"Perhaps a modern society can remain stable only by eliminating adolescence, by giving its young, from the age of ten, the skills, responsibilities, and rewards of grownups, and opportunites for action in all spheres of life. Adolescence should be a time of useful action, while book learning and scholarship should be a preoccupation of adults."

—Eric Hoffer (1902-83) American philosopher

Lora has left the building!

Lora Besaw, my assistant who came to us thru Experience Works has left. The company has decided that since the waiting list has become almost more that they can deal with they are moving everyone every three months. Lora has gone to Greenfield where she will work and live. We are unclear if we will be getting someone new to fill her spot. Carole and I will just have to carry on the best we can! We will all miss Lora and wish her well.
